'Upside down, you're turning me'
Gaia is a touring art installation by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring 7 metres in diameter the artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet on this scale, floating in three dimensions.
Erected in Tewkesbury Abbey it is 1,8 million times smaller than the real Earth and is set off nicely by the wonderful abbey architecture which can be viewed in a mirror pointing towards the ceiling. The scale of the installation is more discernible in the extra photo.
