Our built heritage!

This was once a typical Ulster scene, these days few examples of this type of housing survives, luckily this example in the town of Comber is listed for preservation.

The site was occupied by 1722, when High Street was know as Cow Lane, however the houses seen in this image were built around 1800.  I have always wanted to photograph them, now I have.  The extra image is the end house at the upper end of High Street, it demonstrates just how small the living quarters were, it probably didn't have a bathroom.
