More Signs of Spring

A mild day, but a wet, windy and miserable one. Another brief sortie into the garden for signs of Spring and these catkins on my corkscrew hazel fitted the bill. We had planned a day out to Scarborough tomorrow, but we’ve decided against it as part of the line is closed which would mean a lengthy bus replacement. We are promised the onset of colder weather followed by snow on Thursday.
