Health kick

Getting older, carrying too much weight, feeling the strain of playing too much squash. It's time to start sorting my diet out and stop eating so much crap and putting 5 fruit and veg into my body a lot more regularly.
So this morning's breakfast is my first ever green smoothie. It contains, a handful of spinach and kale, a carrot, pear, orange and some blueberries.
Poor Mary was beside her self (she's allergic to vegetables, especially for breakfast, double especially if they're raw!).
I'd go so far as to say it was nice. I drank the lot quite happily and for my first attempt I'm greatly encouraged. Just have to start tweaking the ingredients. Definitely want to put some ginger in to at some stage.
