Blue Trumpet Vine

Blue Trumpet Vine, Thunbergia laurifolia, aka laurel clockvine, is native to India andThailand. Found throughout Mainland Southeast Asia and Malaysia, it's an introduced species in Florida. A fast-growing perennial, it grows very happily here and is considered invasive in some areas. It does have lovely flowers though. The plant's leaves have strong antioxidant properties if prepared correctly, apparently microwave drying is the way to go.
