Holding up the Welkin

Windy but warm, I actually got hot on my walk. And mostly sunny too - a welcome change.
And an afternoon full of face-palm moments.  Well, one in particular.  Having cast on the next gansey last night,  I thought I'd get some knitting in.  It was definitely a face-palm moment when I realised that a) there was a twist in the first row, and b) too few stitches had been cast on.  As I didn't want to rip it back and start again, I un-knitted back to the cast on stitches, added some more, checked the number of stitches and the joining of the round three times (at least), and kept on going.
