Manure collecting

It poured yesterday evening and everywhere is sodden again.  I could even hear water gushing down the gulleys around the side of the first playing field, which is where I saw C on muck clearing in one of the horse fields.

Well last night went well with Ben Pike doing the judging of our Environmental Portraits.  As predicted, I got a 15 for my first image, and a totally unexpected 18 for image No. 2.  Not bad out of 21.  My rival in joint top got the same score, so we stay as we were, BUT last year's overall winner got a 20, which puts her one point behind us.  Sigh.  One more open competition to go in April.
