Tiny

This box by the front door had plants in it last year, but they were taken out and Blackbirds have been scraping up the soil. Then today I noticed this tiny Iris in the corner. Now where did that come from? It is tiny but perfect, a beautiful blue . . . and all on its own. 

And another thing - how did my phone know it was an Iris without me doing a thing about identification. I don't like my phone doing things all by itself. 

I wonder whether we will get snow tomorrow . . .
