Seahorse and a tower
The seahorse belongs to the Briggait. Originally (1873, A listed) a fish market. Designed by Clarke and Bell, the building is now an arts centre.
The tower is the Merchants' Steeple (1665, A listed), all that remains of the Merchants' House when it relocated to George Square. If you look carefully at the top of the tower you will see a sailing ship. The emblem of the Merchants' House.
A beautiful, sunny, blue sky day today.
