Today's the day .................... for signs

I was outside in the garden today, doing some actual work, which felt very nice.

When I say outside, I was actually in the greenhouse, stripping off all the ancient bubble-wrap that we use for insulation and when the sun gets really hot, as a sunscreen.  It's been there for probably four years now, so it's done pretty well - but it will be good to have new stuff.

And all around me, there were signs of the garden coming to life again after the winter.  The buds on the magnolia are thickening up and the camellia is a riot of pretty pink flowers.  The daffodils and tulips are pushing through to join the snowdrops and crocuses already open.

This is a lovely time of year with everything beginning to grow .....................
