Last Rays of the Sun on the Birch Wood

It was nice to wake up to no grey skies. When the sun did rise, there were blue skies. It was cool outside. A robin, Extra, was singing its heart out on a branch above me. Nice in the sunshine, but a cool breeze kept it feeling chilly.

After work I had a wee wander on my own while my partner waited for a parcel to arrive. I managed to get a photo of the last rays of the sun hitting the edge of the birch wood. It was feeling pretty cool. I went home and the parcel arrived. We both then went for a walk in the dusk, got wine for Wine Wednesday.
