Look Out

Hannah came to walk Merlin this morning. We don’t let Merlin know she is coming as he gets himself into a fluster running to and from different windows trying to see her arrival. However he usually senses the different routine and figures that she must be coming to take him out.

This is Merlin’s favourite look out post. He sits here to watch the comings and goings in the street but was feeling extra enthusiastic to see Hannah this morning.

Grateful today:
- For the goldfinches who are feeding outside the kitchen window. I’m enjoying watching them as I get breakfast.
- For an organic vegetable box delivered to our doorstep.
- To discover I was growing quite a number of varieties of thyme at the allotment that I’d forgotten about.
