Positioning the pond

Spray paint and discussions, no digging.  Then we viewed it from upstairs and when they return (tomorrow is definitely rain, Friday looks iffy) we will ask for some changes.

Hopefully digging actually starts soon.  They seem quite slow compared to some of the work we've had done, with lots of breaks, though they did plant some bare root hedging today.  We're paying for the job, not based on the time, so it really doesn't matter; and we do appreciate the fact that they pace themselves, not go hell for leather and then totally run out of steam.

I had a better night's sleep, and although I've still got a sore throat, otherwise feel much better today.  But I've given band practice a miss.
