Aconites

In early February one of the garden delights is the appearance of the aconites pushing their way through the fallen leaves. Although it was a frosty start the sun shone and the yellow flowers opened up.

It seems these ones self seed as they keep popping up all over the garden every year no matter how much Mrs AMK attacks and digs up the wild garlic that grows amongst them. !
