Bashful

The Hellebores also advanced quite a bit while we were away last week so seemed to be the ideal subject for today's Blip, especially as the wind had died down. Unfortunately this little group was hiding in the middle of the bed & it was quite tricky to capture the open one, which was hiding its face as Helebores do. Last night's rain didn't help - the soil in the flower bed was beginning to dry before that, but now there are saturated "No Step" areas again. Tomorrow's forecast is also not what a gardener wants to hear when there's work to be done, though at least it shouldn't snow here!
