A few splashes of colour in the forest

Saturday 3 February
We may have brought the sun back with us from Florida, but unfortunately not the temperatures! It was a sunny but frosty morning. Having been so late to bed last night, we had a bit of a lie in this morning. I did my Duolingo, then Roger kindly went out to get some groceries while I stayed home to unpack and got some laundry in. When he got back we had a cup of coffee, and called his Dad, then got out to enjoy the sunshine at Rowe Woods, and were pleased to find the first snowdrops and a few winter aconites. I was also happy to capture an Eastern bluebird, albeit a bit distant
In the evening we were out at a wonderful Symphony concert
