Hundertvasser

Drove up to Russell, Bay of Islands, today with dad.
He used to live there and isn’t too fond of driving all that way. Wants to catch up with old friends ( while they are all still alive, including himself, so he tells me!)

Stopped at Whangārei.
I wanted to see the museum dedicated to the artist Friedrich Hundertwasser.
He used to live up this way and I loved his styles of art when I was in my late teens.
The building that houses the museum is really impressive.

Staying two nights here in a lovely Airbnb , beach again tomorrow.
