Mandatory Basic life support updating today. The paramedics showed us their fancy LUCAS machine which does the manual cardiac compressions for them. It seemed very rough to me , but true that it’s better to have a cracked rib than than ineffective compressions .
My poor mum has fallen over and taken quite a bash on her face. It looks appalling . She’s shocked , angry and sore . Thankfully I’m flying over to them tomorrow anyway.
