Broad Tail Hummingbird

The hot, dry desert air is quite a treat for us.

We are nostalgic for our time here in Arizona back in the late '80s.

I still chuckle when I think of needing oven mitts to touch my car's steering wheel, or standing in the shadow of a power pole while waiting on the sidewalk at an intersection.

I remember coming to understand the brilliant inventiveness of humans that the sombrero demonstrates.

No doubt about it the desert is quite wonderful in its own way.
