The Castle..

from Freuchie Grantown, the original settlement before Good Sir James Grant had it demolished and rebuilt in its present location.in 1765. The ground was hard beneath the snow covering and care had to be taken as the tracks were frozen and icy in patches. It was good to see and feel the sun and the birds were singing of Spring.
