A Birdie

Despite the snow warnings, again we had none in Herefordshire (England, UK) just drizzle and grey sky. After shopping in Monmouth town (South Wales) I had a drive towards Abergavenny just to see if any mountains had a covering of the white stuff.

Driving through The Hendre, I saw loads of deer on The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club. They were so still, at first I though they were 'sculptures', but then I saw movement. Luckily they were happy with the two hundred metre distance between us and I was able to watch them for a while to see them joined by a bird. Always nice to get a birdie on the golf course!!!!
