I had a lot of good ideas today. The first was walking to Tesco at 7 o’clock while it was dry. The second was remembering to get a photo for blip. I won’t list the others.

An hour later I saw a few flakes of snow but these were soon followed by rain. Early in the afternoon the rain turned to sleet and although the cloud lifted to reveal snow on Wansfell there was nothing that settled lower down. The forecast is for rain to continue all night and all tomorrow.
