The Childrens' Play Park.
My children used to love coming to this little park when they were growing up in Rishton. I blipped it for old times sake as it is nearby and such a lovely blue skied day. One of the children's parks, The Piggy park as it is called by Rishtoners, is scheduled to become a Council run food growing project.
This blip shows of the bright and colourful creative rides, such as the little springy frog and the silver spinning lid that goes round at an off -centred angle. Doggies should not go there but love to jump on the merry-go-round.
Greg, my now grown up son, once climbed to the top of the rope pyramid and yelled "Look at me Mummy!"
I spent an hour and a half at the Womens' Centre this morning, asking for help with CV presentation and general tips about job searching.
No dates on CVs I was told, it is considered ageist, and keep it to two pages.
They were tremendously kind and helpful and I came home feeling supported.
I am signed up to do three courses to improve my PC office skills and will do Customer Service Level 2 to improve my chances of a retail job.
I am registered with a few agencies now and spend time browsing in the evenings.
I am off to enjoy the sunshine and will be doing a spot of gardening at the pub garden.
Then I will be indulging in a Magnum Infinity!
