Christmas again?

This is a long story cut fairly short. My brother in the USA sent me a Christmas parcel at the beginning of December. It didn't turn up.  He checked the Tracker but it kept saying 'out for delivery'. He sent me the reference number last night and when I checked it this morning, before going to the sorting office, I scrolled down and there was a photo. The postman had put it in my glass recycling box! He'd come in my side gate, saw the box, removed the flower pot off the top and safely stored it in there. I haven’t drunk much wine for a couple of months so didn't put any bottles in there. If only the postman had put a card through the door! The parcel took only six days to arrive and has been in the box for nearly two months. Lots of lessons learned there!
