You'll only get the feeling of this when viewed large.

As with much of the North of England, we did get some snow today, however, not in nearly the same quantities as some areas. It did settle a little on the higher fells (anything over 1500 feet), but despite the apparently heavy snow in the photo - it only lasted a few minutes at this intensity, and the roads stayed clear.
