Dragon

The heavy snow that was forecast for this morning never materialised. Apart from a brief flurry of sleet, it was another day of heavy rain.

The rain subsided late afternoon and I went for a 4 km walk around the outer village area.

A local metal worker has created this dragon which sits on the village green guarding the entrance to the community pub. It is there to support the current six nations rugby tournament and will also be involved in the village St David's day celebrations.

There are currently two competitions related to the dragon. One is to find a suitable name and the other is to guess its weight.
