Old Blue Eyes

A wet day so we didn't go out. You know what that means, another nesting doll. 
I think this one is Japanese and is based on a daruma doll design. 
The daruma doll is a symbol of good luck, and represents a monk, Bodhidharma, who is said to have brought Chan Buddhism to China.
