On A Small Perch

I love it in Florida when the greenskeepers wake me up right before sunrise, when I can hit the head and head out the door.

The sunrise wasn't spectacular, but it is always nice to see the giant orb present itself. As I was leaving, I glanced over into a boating fix-it lot and thought..."That sure looks like a hawk."

It was, and I couldn't believe the size of the metal pole he/she was balancing on. I took a few shots from my car to make sure I got one, and then tried to venture closer. He/she let me take a few more, then flew off.

In the extras is my favorite shot from the sunrise, titled The 'Rise and the Riggings. It was a special few minutes.

Later, (without Lisa) I went back over to Hobby Lobby to get some more 90% off treasures. I thought she might hold me back if she was with me. HA!
