Purple Sandpiper

Grey and misty start to the day, but decided to risk a trip to Rhos on Sea at high tide to see the Purple Sandpipers. So pleased as we met up with a very knowledgeable local birder with bags of info about other winter visitors and directions to the Duck pond in Prestatyn where a Kingfisher is very  much in evidence.
