Ann and I
Today is our wedding anniversary. Although we've been married seventeen years, we've been together thirty eight years.
We went to The Vale, previously known as Evesham Country Park, to meet up with Tom and Emma, and of course Raffy. The soft play area was very popular with a large queue outside so we decided on a drink in the main cafe. Emma bought Raffy some books and he had a good time, reading and sticking. We had coffee and a good chat.
It had been raining heavily earlier in the day and the roads were flooding in places, luckily by the time we left it had cleared up a bit.
The park had put up a flower structure, presumably for the forthcoming Valentine's Day. It made a good prop for our anniversary photo. After Emma had taken a few, Rafferty wanted a go. He took three or four, this is one of them, not bad for a child who isn't three years old yet!
Incidentally, for me this is a double wedding anniversary as it is the same day, back in 1973 that I married my first wife. I'm pretty sure there won't be a third!
