Opening

Good lord, there was this mysterious golden orb in the sky today and a blue mantle overhead!  The frogs were impressed too and there's lots of frogspawn in the pond,and the crocuses have peeped out! Good weather meant that I've been outside most of the day and the little myrtle/holly grove is now looking  clear and impressive. Having had a dire forecast of snow earlier in the week, the conservatory door was open and at one point the jersey came off!
Having just had St Brigid's weekend it's now the turn of St Gobnait - who seems to be having a weekend too this year. We shall be off to Ballyvourney tomorrow for a series of lectures, leaving the house at 7.45am - eek.
