No swimming today

What I thought was a bruised  foot for the last 10 days got so painful last night that I got no sleep. Instead of swimming I phoned the Doc who sent me off to the Urgent Treatment Centre.  Four hours later I was discharged with anti-inflammatories for a blocked vein in my foot. No idea how it's happened;  I don't have varicose veins, I'm not obese and I'm not pregnant. He said it should get better in a couple of weeks. At the moment I can't put any weight on it so walks will be curtailed.
