Berneray

Back blipped on 09 February 2024.  I spent a happy hour this afternoon sorting through some of the photos taken on our two week holiday on North Uist in 2019.  Somehow, life moved on and I never got round to reviewing them, let along blipping them.


Here are Caroline and Gus on the vast expanse of sand on the west side of Berneray with the view north to Harris.  Gus was tied as always by an invisible umbilical cord to the person he devoted the last ten years of his life to.

This was the last holiday away that we had with our beautiful boy.  Covid came along the following year, and Gus himself was getting a bit too arthritic to be subjected to long trips in the back of a car.  It was a lovely break, staying in two different cottages in successive weeks on different parts of North Uist.

I shall try and upload a few more photos from the holiday, it seems a shame to waste them.
