Wind and Waves

A view of some of the wood chip paths I’ve been creating at the allotment. In the left hand bed you can see the green shoots of the garlic I planted in the autumn.

We had a pleasant but windy walk at Emsworth this morning. The tide was high and with the strong wind, the water was up over the coast path so we detoured through the back streets to get to the town. I took some photos of a large gathering of swans who’d decided to leave the choppy water for the calmer environment of the high street. However, I’d accidentally switched my camera into a post focus mode which turned still images into videos. So, I can’t share anything I took with you here.

This afternoon I’ve been repotting some blueberry bushes and starting to make plant labels out of the strips of wood in an old piece of trellis. Enjoyable tasks, especially as the sun came out for a few hours.

Best wishes for the weekend.
