Phalaenopsis Orchid

This spray of orchids has lasted well so I thought it needed blipped before they "went over".

Also known as Moth Orchid "Phals" are the most commonly offered for sale Orchid.  They have a number of things which make them so successful.  They don't have a flowering season they can and often do flower at any time or even all year.  They aren't as demanding as some of the other orchid species.  Meristem tissue culture has made them affordable.
