Manly Ferry

After a couple of overcast days in the Blue Mountains it was blue sky as we left on the bus which did the route to echo point where we had a last glimpse of the mountains, then to Scenic World before dropping us off in Katoomba. We had breakfast in the Hatter’s cafe before taking the train back to Sydney. The trains are double deckers and not completely full, so there’s plenty of space.
In Central we got the train to the circular quay, another nice train with hardly anyone on it. The ferry to Manly was also very pleasant.
We walked to Manly beach, had a cup of tea just before the cafe closed. Cafes here generally open at 6:30am and close at 2:30.
After people watching, reading, we reached Sue’s place after work, and we spent the evening catching up with cocktails, wine and pasta.
