First Butterfly of 2024

A lovely Spring morning in the garden - it's peeing down with rain out there now! - and a lovely sight greeted me with this red admiral fluttering about and taking refuge on the neighbours house! let the butterfly hunting of 2024 now begin in earnest!!

Recent rain meant the lawn was too wet to trample on to do some 'proper gardening' today, so instead I've been fixing the old mini greenhouse where the roof was leaking and sorting out all the overwintering pots in the other little greenhouses - signs of life in some and others completely empty so I got some repotted and we will see how they get on!

Sport and reading now for the rest of the day - seems to be a Saturday tradition now!
