Hans Zimmer by Candlelight

We had another trip into town to go see a string quartet play some pieces by Hans Zimmer this evening.  It was upstairs at Oran Mor which was very pretty, and the whole shtick was that the venue was candlelit.  I joked that the cost of the tickets mainly went to the batteries in all the many hundreds of LED candles.

The evening was good and relaxing, though got interrupted during the fourth piece by a member of the audience fainting.  He came round fairly quickly and after a brief spell backstage, rejoined the audience so all was well.  I love that when a member of staff went to get help, they brought back a glass of water and a tin of irn bru, because what else do you give someone who faintsi n Glasgow? 

We grabbed food from Bantawala afterwards which scored points as more good Indian food in town. Dare I say that their vada pav was even better than bundobust's...
