The first hours of the day were the best. It was a nice change to have warm sunshine for the walk down to the station in the morning.

This part of the route is one of the best butterfly spots on the moor, but it's quiet at the moment. In a couple of weeks it should be alive with Large and Small Skippers, Ringlets and Burnet moths. Everything is running late this year.
