England - Mid Winter!

Mostly sunny day. 10C. Went to the Nici. Sat on the terrace and chatted to a delightful couple, from The Mendips, with a holiday home here.

Couldn't believe how busy the pool was. Mad really for beg. February. Well it is heated to 30C.

Nearly forgot a BT technician was coming to check our broadband. Had 20mns to rush home. A free yearly service BT offers, which I always forget to take advantage of.

He declared Broadband A1. To be honest it usually is, however atmospheric conditions affect the signal at times. He is sending an attenuator which may improve reception.

Baked a vegan banana/chocolate/walnut cake - made with gram (chickpea) flour, in the Ninja. Came out well. Was perhaps too sparing with sugar, so drizzled maple syrup on my first slice.
