Roses & Vermouth

My lovely friend Sara had bought us tickets to go on a little valentine's flower arranging morning. Sara herself is a florist so knows her stuff. It was so so lovely to do something out of the ordinary (for me at least!) & have time with her. We later met her husband, Jay Jay, and had lunch together.
Late afternoon we met Gemma, Claire, Todd plus Charlie and Isabel, and watched the Carnival parade. Nate dressed up to watch the. The parade was brilliant as usual. After a potter round the games stalls in the Vara de Rey, Gemma, our kids and Charlie and Isabel all came back to ours. We popped to the supermarket and found this delicious local Vermouth - absolutely delicious!
A very fun night with Gemma, and now we're all tired!
Sad part of the day was discovering Nate's goldfish, Michael, had died. He said a prayer for him before they sent him to the sea... 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The flower workshop. Lovely to do something different.
2) Hilarity watching Gladiators with Gemma and the kids.
3) Todd bringing all the kids Carnival necklaces, all the way from the States.
