A bit of light relief

We had bought the tickets before everything went array, but Arnie was adamant that Sue and I still go, so we did.

The Johannesburg Philharmonic with guest singers including Jonathan Roxmouth and Karen Pieterson. Fantastic music and some fun interludes, just right for some much needed distraction.

Arnie has had a busy day, with another IV infusion, sonars, x-rays, CT scan, and tomorrow a biopsy of an artery in the area of his temple which we all hope will rule out GCM.

I had a surprise when going back to his ward with the requested coffee, when I bumped into our old friend Carol. She moved away from the district a number of years ago when her hubby Gordon passed away. Sadly she has cancer, and fighting hard as her previous drugs stopped working. It turned out she is in a small ward just two doors down from Arnie. Not the best place to meet up after a long time but it was great to see her.
