a little pop of colour for a sunday

Heard yesterday that Aunt M has had a brain aneurysm, which doesn't sound too great. Hopeful news today but what will be etc etc. I'm 66 now  - but suddenly my childhood doesn't feel so far away. I was the first grandchild so a bit of a novelty for Aunt M who was only 19 I when I was born.  'You were such a frightened little thing', she told me . I remember her boyfriends and how she could make the dullest day feel magical and fun. Hoping I can get to see her one more time at least.
