Along to that Leith as I fancied topping up my beer collection with a selection from the Moonwake Brewery, which I duly did. Way above the minimum price threshold which is poised to increase from 50p to 65p per unit. It’s strange that a society which prides itself on removing inequalities and discrimination will quite happily discriminate against lower socio-economic groups when it comes to buying a drink. If you’re poor there’s always street vallies, pal. It’s for their own good, I guess.
So, later, rugby and again we bossed it in the first half against those Frenchies, though six points ahead is always a lead that can disappear with one try and conversion, and so it proved. And then, after much diddling about we finally have to start playing again. A last minute try - except the ref doesn’t give it, despite a fairly conclusive TMO thingy. Our own fault that it came down to that. Glad I don’t follow the stupid game anyway.
