Pit Stop
We set off in thick mist to travel to Cumbria this morning. As we crossed the Pennines there was still a lot of snow on the ground.
Stopped off for lunch before continuing onto Cockermouth where this photo was taken. The old Jennings brewery along the riverside provided the photo.
Then off to compete in the British Night Orienteering Championships at Hawes End near Grange. The first time I have entered and the last time I will compete in W65 before moving up a class. Pleased to get round and reasonably accurate apart from a mistake at control 2. At one point stopped to check my map to find the control was just below me. The area was incredibly wet as you can imagine after recent weather but rather enjoyed the challenge.
