Jelly ear fungus

It was a beautiful morning with warm sunshine.  The hound and I had a lovely walk.

By lunchtime the sky was grey again.  I took advantage of this to catch up on handwashing jumpers and ironing.

Our afternoon dog walk was decidedly chilly.  Headed back home for hot coffee, slice of chocolate and banana loaf and listening to 70s music with Johnnie Walker.

My blip is jelly ear fungus which has sprung up up on the dead elder in this damp spell we've had.  It's quite a crop.  I'm happy to leave it in situ rather than harvest it for dinner.
