2023 blanket complete

Finally finished the simple border and sewing in of all the remaining ends of my 2023 blanket. I’m not sure I’d use such a dark colour as the border for any future blankets but it was a good exercise.

A morning walk down the railway path with the dog before tackling the ironing. Watched the Scotland v France rugby match, a few heart stopping moments.

We headed into town at 5.30 to meet the kids for an early dinner. M&A had been at the match and met K for a drink whilst we were driving in. A delicious meal at the oldest Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh, the Tehdezvoys. The place was going like a fair with every table full.
