Heir to the throne

We decided to adopt the baby led weaning approach, which means the wee man has to feed himself. As you can imagine, this involves a lot of mess. Far more than I imagined. Far more than I was prepared for.

Not only was there mess, but Nikki was happily handing back food from the floor. Not just dry food, but wet sloppy stuff.

What about the germs? What about the diseases? How will I cope when he catches the dreaded lurgy?

Nikki thinks I'm nuts. I probably am. I' know I'm irrational about the mess but, unlike the food on the wee man's plate, it's hard to shake off. I'll get there.
