Snow day

Backblip for Thursday. A dark murky start to the day, and with my stonking cold and the threatened snow it all seemed a bit "bleurgh"!  Rain at first which gave way to sleet.  My supermarket order arrived late as the van had broken down en route. The snow then started to come down in earnest.  Community choir was cancelled, but I wouldn't have been able to sing anyway. The snow wasn't settling at first, but once it did it got thick fairly quickly.  Thankfully my son just managed to get the car up the hill to home before things really ground to a halt in the village.  Just a quick photo taken through the conservatory window today.
