Pyre

As I approached these end-on I saw two funeral pyres and was too stupefied to take a photo. Sideways-on the logs just become an unusual roof for a bit of children's playground equipment. 

Tivoli and I showed Firstborn our primary school. Then went to walk round a park/housing estate that has been very much redeveloped in our lifetimes but which has always had the River Quaggy (isn't that a great name?!) running through it, as river, surface water or culvert. It was noticeable that the water engineer in our group didn't get wet feet.
